Home Owners Network, LLC


It is the mission of the Home Owners Network (HON) to improve the quality of home ownership through the development of tools and resources which save members time and money while keeping their homes safe and in proper repair. Our members should never feel confused or alone when making decisions about their homes.
HON agrees to provide the Member/Subscriber with tools and services including: “Ask the Experts” Live Support, HON Guard Appliance Recall Alerts, Find a Contractor and Member Savings all available on the HON website or patent pending smartphone app. Additional tools and services under development will be released as completed and become available to members either included in the subscription or on an optional basis.

  1. HON Experts are the best home advisors and technicians in the nation and are available to answer your house related questions almost any time of the day or night. You may ask any question about your home on the “Ask the Experts” smartphone app or online on the HON website. Once your questions and photos are received they are reviewed by a HON Expert and a response to your email address of record is sent to you fast. You get the most knowledgeable real people answering your questions when you need help, not just a search of a database but a live response. The “Ask the Experts” service is like having an expert in your pocket.
  2. The Member/Subscriber understands and agrees that all consulting performed by Home Owners Network, hereafter HON, on behalf of the Member/Subscriber, hereafter Subscriber requires that the Subscriber must and shall provide all information, photographs and documents to HON pertinent to any such consulting work in a timely manner. The Subscriber further understands and agrees that inaccuracy or incompleteness of such information and documents may have a material effect on the consulting work performed on behalf of the Subscriber by HON.
  3. HON agrees that it will keep confidential, and will not copy or disclose to any third party, any information designated by the Subscriber as “Confidential” or “Proprietary” and provided to HON, or the contents of such material, in whole or in part, without the prior consent of the Subscriber. However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting materials you are granting HON permission to use your submission in connection with the operation of their Internet business including, without limitation, rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your submission; and to publish your name in connection with your submission.
  4. By posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting your submission you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all rights to your submission.
  5. The Subscriber understands and agrees that all photographs sent to HON become the property of HON.
  6. The Subscriber understands and agrees that all oral statements and written consulting service work products produced by HON on behalf of the Subscriber including but not limited to services provided in conjunction with and/or pertaining to any potential, pending, or ongoing litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration, or negotiations is intended as and shall be considered only as suggested information and is not represented as and shall not be considered as or construed in any manner by the subscriber to be expert or engineering advice or legal advice. The Subscriber further understands and agrees that Subscriber is advised by HON to consult with and/or engage legal counsel for the purpose of advising on any actual or potential legal matters, including but not limited to, modifications to contracts, reports, response letters, and other written documents.
  7. The Subscriber understands and agrees that the term of the subscription service will commence on the date on which they signed or agreed to the original portion of the Subscription Service Agreement and Contract (you may accept by checking the accept box on our website) and payment for the subscription service or gift certificate held by the Subscriber are received by HON and shall terminate ,or perpetuate in the case of Lifetime Memberships, until the end of their particular subscription duration. This contract or current future version shall renew should the subscriber choose to renew their subscription by paying the fees.
  8. The Subscriber acknowledges, understands, and agrees that together the Subscription Service Agreement, the Description of Subscription Services, and the Subscription Service Fee Schedule shall constitute The Subscription Service Agreement and Contract.
  9. In return for an annual fee paid by the Subscriber or gift certificate used by the Subscriber and commencing on the date as indicated above. HON agrees to provide the services as outlined in the Description of Subscription Services to the Subscriber named the Subscription Service Agreement portion of the Subscription Service Agreement and Contract.
  10. The Subscriber agrees that the liability of HON and of its agents and employees for any claims of damages, costs of defense and suit, attorney’s fees, or expenses arising out of any information provided to or work performed on behalf of the Subscriber by HON shall be limited to liquidated damages in an amount of a pro-rated portion of the remainder of the annual subscription fee at the time such liability is assessed. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold HON and its agents and employees harmless for all damages and liability, including liability for negligence, except as provided above. This includes free subscriptions in which case the liability is $0. Free subscriptions are not exchangeable for cash refunds or refunds of any kind.
  11. The Subscriber acknowledges that the liquidated damages are not intended as a penalty but are intended (I) to reflect the fact that actual damages may be difficult and impractical to ascertain; (II) to allocate risk among HON and the Subscriber; and (III) to enable HON to provide its services for the stated annual subscription fee. In the event of the tender by HON of a refund of the subscription fee as outlined above, such refund shall be full and final settlement of all present and future claims and causes of action and HON shall be thereupon generally and fully released.
  12. The Subscriber hereby expressly waives any cause of action against HON Member/Managers personally, excluding solely willful misconduct, for any and all liability related to any oral statements or written consulting service work provided by HON on behalf of the Subscriber. The Subscriber agrees to indemnify HON Members/Managers personally for any and all causes of action, including costs of defense and attorney’s fees, related to or arising from any claim brought by the Subscriber or the Subscriber’s customers or clients against HON or against any or all HON Member/Managers personally.
  13. All contents of the HON websites are Copyright ©2012, 2013, 2014 2015 HON. All rights reserved. The HON smartphone application is Copyright ©2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 HON and is patent pending. Any duplication or similar APP use may be prosecuted under Federal Law.
  14. HON is not a “Lawyer Referral” service. HON provides a platform for information, self-help and collaboration. Any list of lawyers published on this site is for information purposes only and does not constitute an endorsement or approval of any listed lawyer. Members wishing to retain a lawyer should contact that lawyer to obtain a legal services agreement detailing the terms and conditions of representation, including all fees, expenses and other obligations.
  15. HON reserves the right to change (meaning add, modify or delete) any part of the HON service to subscriber. Subscriber may opt out of the service after such notification to HON directly.
  16. This agreement and the relationship between Subscriber and HON shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
  18. If any portion of this Agreement is held to be invalid, its invalidity will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement.
  19. Subscriber agrees that any information provided through the HON Service are subject matter expert opinions and may be wrong, even if/when backup authoritative references are provided. The information is deemed reliable, however, users are encouraged to verify information and seek second opinions from local experts. HON Service is not responsible for any authorized or unauthorized use of its support information provided to subscribers or performance of any contractor or serviceperson whether their contact information was provided by HON or not.
  20. The Home Owners Network is a “Members Benefits” organization. Your contact information will be treated with the greatest respect. You will receive a Welcome Email along with a Welcome Call from a HON Representative as confirmation of the acceptance of membership to enable (or not) capability of the “Ask the Experts” service and other functions. Your HON Representative will assist you in setting up your account, downloading the Home Owners Network smartphone app and help you with any services you may need such as moving services, home owner’s insurance, utilities hookups and more. Just ask your Rep for assistance with anything related to your home. Subscribers have rights to all the members deals and services available so just ask. HON will, from time to time, send newsletters and emails with useful information, benefits and offers for subscribers to consider. A Subscriber may be contacted by phone, direct mail or email. HON does not sell email or other personal information to any third party. HON does partner with several companies to offer our member benefits. These partners may contact you. You may contact us to opt out of any or all communication at any time.
  21. HON Live Support is defined as an emailed response sent by a live HON Expert, subject to Subscriber subscription question event limit as defined on the Home Owners Network website, provided within 2-hours of submission during normal business hours by a qualified subject matter expert, individually tailored to the Subscriber’s question. HON reserves the right to terminate any subscriber it considers is abusing the system whether by question volume and/or content. HON reserves the right t0 limit responses from our Experts to no more than 10 (ten) cumulative responses in any one calendar month for any single member’s subscription in good standing. More complex questions may require more time to research. Subscriber will be notified if this is the case. Additionally, the HON Subject Matter Expert may from time to time request that a Subscriber supply more information in order to properly reply to the specific question. Failure to provide sufficient information for response may result in your question being placed in our unresolved file. HON Live Support is not a technical service for referring professionals, including, but not limited to, appraisers, agents, brokers or home inspectors; it is for layperson homeowners only. Professionals utilizing HON Live Support as a technical service will be referred to the fee-paid HON Professional Network for technical questions. Professionals abusing the HON Live Support service will be charged a per question fee of $19.95 and may be removed as a referring professional.
  22. All HON Subscriptions regardless of service level are individual and are not transferrable.
